Uncommonyl used FILIPINO words

We used Filipino language fluently without any idea that there are some uncommon Filipino words that we dont even have any idea that they actually exist. So here are some uncommonly used Filipino words

1.Haynayan (Biology) -A branch of Science that deals with life.

Example Sentence: Nakagawa na ba kayo sa asignatura natin sa haynayan?

2.Karumlan (Menstrual Period) -A monthly cycle of adolecent girl of her ovulation period.

Example Sentence: Kailan ang huling karumlan mo?

3.Panghibayo (Amplifier) – an electronic device for increasing the amplitude of electrical signals, used chiefly in sound reproduction.
Example Sentence: Pwede makihiram ako sa panghibayo mo?
4.Pook-sapot (Website) – A place on the World Wide Web that contains information about a person, organization, and etc.
Example Sentence: Pakihanap ng mga pook sapot nga ating asignatura.
5.Sulatroniko (Email) – A system for sending messages from one computer to another computer.
Example Sentence: Gumawa ka ng sulatroniko para sa magulang mo sa abroad.
6.Pang-ulong hatinig (Earphone) – A device that holds an earphone and a microphone in place on a person’s head.
Example Sentence: May pang-ulong hatinig kaba sa bahay?
7.Panginain (Browser)– A computer program that is used to find and look at information on the Internet.
Example Sentence: May nakita kabang “domain name” sa panginain ng cellphone mo??
8.Pantablay (Charger) – A device for charging storage batteries.
Example Sentence: Pakikuha nya ng pantablay ko sa upuan.
9.Miktinig (microphone) – An instrument whereby sound waves are caused to generate or modulate an electric current usually for the purpose of transmitting or recording sound (as speech or music).
Example Sentence: Gumamit kanina ng miktinig ang makata para marinig siya nga mga tao.

10.Initsigan (Thermodynamics) -A science that deals about the action of the heat and related forms of heat.

Example Sentence: Nag-aaral kayo sa pasulit sa initsigan ngayon??

Tinagba Festival

Witness the colorful celebration in the city of Iriga City, Camarines Sur as they take pride on their annual Tinagba Festival taking place every month of February.

The highlight of the Tinagba Festival includes the Street Dancing. The local government wanted to promote their local tourism by presenting their prides and originalities in the festival celebration. features a long procession of floats that are being pulled by carabaos.

There is a parade in carabao-drawn carts or motored floats packed with the best of the province’s products. It’s very colorful and made more amazing with marching bands producing lively sounds.

The procession ends at the foot of the Emerald Grotto located at the top of Calvary Hill. After that, a mass is held, and later on, there is a distribution of the agricultural products to needy families in the town.

Illegal drugs prevention

Drugs, including tobacco and alcohol, are easily available to children and adolescents. As a parent, you have a major impact on your child’s decision not to use drugs.

Most likely, children in grade school have not begun to use alcohol, tobacco, or any other kind of drug. That is why grade school is a good time to start talking about the dangers of drug use. Prepare your child for a time when drugs may be offered.

Drug abuse prevention starts with parents learning how to talk with their children about difficult topics. Then, the programs offered by school, sports, and other groups can support what you have started

Addiction is when you can’t stop. Not when it puts your health in danger. Not when it causes financial, emotional, and other problems for you or your loved ones. That urge to get and use drugs can fill up every minute of the day, even if you want to quit.

We should stop using drugs because it’s bad for pur health and it may lead into many diseases and sickness.

Say NO to drugs!
